Nike Vapor Fly フェアウェイウッドと Nike Vapor Speed フェアウェイウッドとの可変スリーブには互換性がなくて困ったが，怪我の功名もあった。
顛末
ちょっと前に購入した Nike Vapor Fly の3番フェアウェイウッド（3W）には Mitsubishi Tensei CK Blue がささっていたのですが，先日のラウンドの結果，Diamana S+ の方が自分には合いそうだということが分かり，ヤフオクでその Diamana S+ を購入したんです。「カチャカチャ万歳」と思いながら。
ドライバーも同じようにしたので問題ないだろうと思ってたんですが，そうではなかった。どうやら，Vapor Speed のスリーブと Vapor Fly のスリーブって，形状が違うみたいなんですよ。
ネットを探ってもなかなか情報が出てこない……。やっと出くわしたのが，これ。

I recently picked up a couple Nike Vapor Fly 3 & 5 wood heads. Since I already have the Nike Flexloft adapters on each of the shafts from my Nike Vapor Flex 3 & 5 woods that are a couple years old, I was just going to swap out the heads. From everything I have read, the FlexLoft adapter should be compatible between the Vapor and the Vapor Fly models, but they do not fit on mine. The hosel on the newer Vapor Fly woods is noticeably smaller in diameter than my ones from the Vapor Flex. Can anyone give me an idea of the correct FlexLoft adapter to use to fit the Nike Vapor 3 & 5 woods? I can't seem to find any information about this compatibility issue on-line, so not if this happening to anyone else. I have attached an image of the difference in the 3 wood hosel sizes. Hope someone can shed some light on this one...thanks!

ということで，確かに写真で見ても違いは明らか。
仕方がないので，神戸の TeeOlive に依頼して，スリーブを付け替えてもらうことにします。工房によっては「外したスリーブは再利用できない」というところもあるでしょうが。
とりあえず買った Vapor Fly 3W，ヤフオクで安く入手したと思った Diamana S+，結果的に高くついてしまった……。
が！ 実は比べてみたら，3Wについていた Tensei CK Blue は5Wと同じ長さ（3Wの Diamana S+ より1インチ短い）だったので，これで適正な長さになおせるという，怪我の功名でもありました。
